Tweet My Blog
O.K – I am delving into the Twitter Jungle at full speed and just downloaded and installed TweetMyBlog
It’s a Wordpress plugin tool that allows you to harness the power of Twitter to drive massive amounts of traffic to your sites, and shows you how to convert that traffic into cash. With this tool you can combine the powers of Wordpress and Twitter and drive massive amounts of traffic to your blog.
It was created by John Merrick and Soren Jordansen and the best part… It’s 100% free!
TweetMyBlog will automatically
1) Post a tweet whenever you update you blog.
The tweet will link back to your blog,
driving a ton of interested readers your way.
2) Highlight your latest Tweets on your blogs
sidebar – increasing your Twitter following
3) Promote your affiliate link on auto-pilot,
whenever you use the plugin and sidebar
widget. Earn commissions just for posting to
your blog.
This is far more than just another Wordpress plugin – This is a fully fleshed out marketing plan that will put the power of Twitter at your finger tips.
I’ll let you know how TweetMyBlog will turn out for me. I am sure all of us can use a little Twitter help here and there
Wishing you Rippling Success!

Hello Svenja,
Thanks for your visit and comments on my blog, I just had a look at yours and already seen something good (’tweet my blog’), I started dabbling with twitter but haven’t had time to delve too far yet and that looks like a great labour saving tool, thanks, I’ll be trying it myself.
I like your blog graphics too.
Good luck with your project, sounds as though you’re further ahead than me, I always leave things till the last minute…….
Regards
Dave Smith
Hi Dave, Thank you for your comment! AND … believe me … I am struggling to keep up with the running pack (see forum and blogs of other students
) But I am most certain that all of us get THERE! Svenja
Enthusiastic post Svenja – Twitter has left my head spinning a bit, so anything that can make it work for me, is worth a look. Great practical post – nice to drop in.
Ciao John
Hi John,
I will say that I do like ‘TweetMyBlog’ – whenever a post appears on my Twitter site, I seem to get a bunch of new followers. I don’t know how many actually end up visiting the blog, but it’s a start.
Thank you for your visit and thoughts on Twitter … I am working on unraveling the secrets as I write
I am not so crazy about the icon displays … it takes longer to load the page and since I updated to a newer version, I cannot seem to control/change how many icons I wish to display. I may look for another alternative here.
Looking forward to be in touch soon, and thank you for signing up for my blog updates
Svenja
Thanks for this Svenja,
I have downloaded Tweet my Blog. I haven’t touched Twitter as yet, it seemed like it would take up a lot of time. However if this software does everything automatically, I have no problem with that :O) How are you getting on with Twitter?
John
Hi John,
Excellent question! I have not paid much attention to Twitter over the last 3 weeks, but I still get in average about 20 to 30 new followers a week (up to 680). I really liked TweetMyBlog in the beginning because with each blog-update, I had at least 30 followers within hours. Although right now it does not automatically update Twitter, I think I need to reinstall the program, I still like it very much. It’s a simple program meaning it only sends out a tweet when you up-date your blog automatically.
There are a couple of other Twitter solutions that I am planning on testing. I’ll keep you posted on what I find out.
Many Thanks!
Svenja
Hello Svenja,
I think there has been an upgraded version of ‘Tweet my Blog’ published. Might be worth downloading that to get automatic Twitter updates.
John
Hi John,
Thank you for the tip. I think I got “Tweet My Blog” working again. However, I do think there is a bug (yet perhaps they fixed in the up-date), the process does not work with scheduled posts … I’ll keep an eye on it
Many Thanks,
Svenja
