Yesterday, at 12:00 PM all VIP’s (meaning those who had registered prior to the release date) received an email with a link leading them to a page for a FREE Butterfly Marketing Homestudy Course.  I don’t really know much about Mike Filsaime and his techniques, yet I thought it couldn’t hurt to check it out. It was a very interesting experience indeed – marketing strategies at their best (once people were able to get to the sign-up sheet)!

The traffic Mike had pre-generated was huge and couldn’t be handled by the server. In so many ways, it was a frustrating experience, yet at the same time, the hunt was on. There had to be a way to make it through the system somehow so that in the end, you could hold the course triumphantly in your hands! So, Mike and his team repaired the bumps-in-the road, brought everything back up to speed a few hours later, and those who waited around patiently were victorious in the end after all. Boy, I wish I had that kind of  traffic (without the crashes, of course) coming to my site

Now that you are reading the post, the 5000 free units are long gone, and many have a story to tell about how they persevered one way or another. If so many people wanted the course, it had to be good, no great, right? Yes, Mike’s marketing techniques certainly worked on me. Although I thought it might be a good plan to get the course for free and then look at it later, now I really wanted to find out what all the hype was about. At the end I realized, good marketing strategies will get a hold of you sooner or later. Now this was I thought I wanted to spend more time pondering about.
