Butterfly Marketing: I Know I Got One!

Now admittedly so, the Butterfly Marketing craze that brought all well designed marketing strategies to a squeaking hold, left me with something impressive to write about. That Tuesday, when I tried for over an hour to grab my very own copy, I ended up staring at an order form that simply would not let me select my state and country. For good 15 min I did move, or refresh the page for that matter, and hoped that eventually the drop-down menu would simply work!

So I got bored and called the one number I could find on the screen. Of course, a recorded voice answered and attempted to direct me back to where I came from: the Internet. Filled with determination, I  pushed a few numbers and low-and-behold reached the voice mail of Joe ‘Something’. Most certainly, he was not the right person for me to be calling for help, but I left a message anyway. It felt so good to explain my futile attempt to have the order page respond to me somehow to a silent stranger on the other end. I hung up wondering if he would laugh out loud about my pleading message.

As you know, later that day, all technical challenges got resolved and I (semi) started all over. Yet somehow, due to multiple loaded pages and attempts, I still wasn’t sure if in fact, I had persevered for sure! Now I know!

Two days later I received a call from Joe Jablonski – the very same Joe I had probably left one of the strangest messages for. He wanted to follow up and find out if I had resolved my problem. I was floored! He checked his data base on my behalf and yes, indeed, I would receive Mike Filesaime’s Butterfly Marketing course in the mail. We started to chat and it became clear to me that this kind of customer service reaches beyond all my expectations I previously had. It was truly an amazing experience, and I am following him now on Twitter and, which is truly inspiring, he follows me!

Within less than a week, I experienced Mike Filsaime and his Affiliate Marketing Manager to raise the bar not only once but twice! If you ask me, this is an accomplishment to be proud of!

    looks like your complaining into an answermachine made you a very powerful ally! Good for you. I too experienced a very stressful day – I knew I had one coming as I had confirmation that money had been taken from my cc, – my concern was that, because I couldn’t fill in the form “Properly” (it refused to acceot ANYTHING that wasn’t a valid state – and I live in the UK) it wouldn’t let me go any further – but then it DID, – was that I had ordered TWO, which MF said would get you blacklisted.

    Anyway, sanity prevailed in the end.

    Hope I one day have the kind of problem that crashes servers – but actually, no I don’t.

    Like you intimate, MF’s customer service is impressive – or is that actually just Joe Jablonski?

    Actually Joe Jablonski is high on MF’s associate list. Apparently they do work closely together, and Joe did offer his help/support once I get my own product off the ground … I still don’t know how I figured out on that very crazy day to get to his VM … and then to receive a call back … I would have simply laughed about my own message and figured everything probably worked out fine …

    Yes, it was a crazy day, and (double yes) I am looking forward to the day when I have his kind of traffic (without the crashes, of course :-) ) I am sure you have received the BM course by now … mine lies tucked away next to my desk. I simply do not have the time/energy to start a new project. I am taking a breath and know I’ll get to it someday soon :-)

  4. BM experience pretty much the same as yours my friend! My package lies three feet away on top of a pile of “to be read” printed off ebooks (don’t do that anymore – not now I’ve my FAB ebook reader!)

    I have no time or energy to do anything with it just now. Am waiting until after JT’s course finishes before I even look at JT’s videos on it all (I assume you bought through JT’s link too).

    Let me know when you start to build yours – maybe we could “support” each other through it!

    Thank you for making me feel better :-) Oh, I would be delighted to support one another with the BM course and more!! As far as my purchase is concerned, due to the commotion, somehow (I don’t know HOW I got there), I seem to have signed up under some other person I do not even know … my plan was to ask John if he would give me access to the videos :-) I am sure they’ll come in handy!
