A Word About D9 Hosting
It can be a tricky thing to follow recommendations especially when it comes to business related decisions. So, about a year ago I followed the advise of a friend and signed-up with GoDaddy to host my first website. Well, suffice it to say, I had a tough time to get anything worked out even with the best intentions and most sophisticated ftp client. The Internet world was not a friendly one as far as I was concerned. Somehow the hosting company had singled me out and was determined to make my journey a rocky one.
Then I signed up with John Thornhill’s Masterclass and he urged us to choose D9 as our hosting company. Due to the fact that I still had not resolved my hosting issues with GoDaddy, I gladly signed up with D9 Hosting. There had to be a better way to figure this Internet stuff out, this much I knew!
From the very beginning, my experience was a good one: the ftp client worked, I had all of my log-in info and the sun started to shine (figuratively speaking) all day long on my blog. The Internet world had turned into a friendly place in which I actually managed to figure things out without an up-hill battle. So then of course, last week I decided to transfer my other website over to D9 Hosting, and without a doubt, this was the most marvelous experience all the way around.
Paula Brett (the incredible author of Operation eBook) and Dan Thompson are kind, patience and extremely knowledgeable. Believe me when I say, that the transfer was not an easy one! Like I said before, GoDaddy made sure we encountered a few boulders along the path destined to eventually lead me to freedom. Paula and Dan plowed through it all with ease and within a very short period of time, my hosting challenges had been put to rest. What astounded me most, was the fact that I received replies when you would expect them to be sleeping. Since I am located in the US and they are in the UK, we had an 8 hour time difference to overcome.
Additionally, you can host as many domains/websites as you wish on one account at no extra charge and they transfer existing domains from another hosting company for free – beat that! The service is simply outstanding, and for my own part, I will host my domains with them … well, until the end.
Although you may feel that your current hosting company is doing a pretty fine job, I would still recommend for you to switch. It’s like drinking a bottle of wine … there is good wine and then there is excellent wine, and D9 Hosting is definitely a company of excellence!

Hi Svenja, I’m pleased that you got the headache site sorted. I knew Paula Brett was very helpfull and am really pleased to read about just how helpfull.
I’ve got d9 for my blog site and use another for my ebook site, having read your post i’ll be thinking of using just d9. The really good thing is being able to have many domain names on one account, especially when we start building our businesses with products etc.
Good luck mate,
Regards, Barry

Hello Barry,
Thank you for your comment. I am glad to hear that it inspires you to consider your eBook website be hosted by D9. My website mentioned in the article is also my eBook website, and since I had such trouble with my previous hosting company, I never up-dated the thing or made other necessary changes on it.
D9 can set up your account any which way you like! You are absolutely correct, life becomes much easier if you have only one account to manage. Remember, they only charge you for one account with them! Best of luck!
Svenja

Excellent post Svenja,
I am with D9 Hosting for my blog, plus 1&1 for about 15 domain names and 3 websites. I have had no problems with either service, but I am concerned that I am paying for two separate hosting packages. Your post explaining how easy to was to transfer, has encouraged me to merge everything with D9. Have you found their prices to be reasonable?
John
Hi John,
Thank you for a great comment and question. A few weeks ago, I employed D9 again to put out a fire for me and they came to the rescue in no time. My understanding is that you can transfer am unlimited amount of domains to them. The only price increase that incurs happens once you exceed your allotted disk space/bandwidth (2 GB disc space and 20GB bandwidth – data transfer). I am not sure how much extra charge that would entail because I personally have not reached those limits.
Other than that I fond them reasonable for the unsurpassed service they are offering – believe me, they are worth every $ you spend!
Please let me know if I can add more details
Man Thanks,
Svenja
