Perhaps you have heard the saying that Rome wasn’t build in day. Well, the creation of my blog took equally long for that matter, believe me. You might think that I am exaggerating, yet in all truthfulness, I feel I have come full circle and traveled at least once to Rome and all the way back to my very scattered point of origin. Nowadays children grow up with a computer in their crib or at least it seems to me that way, and I have to admit that “technology” has always kept me more on my toes than I would like to admit. So here I am at the threshold of a new beginning! A beginning I have envisioned for oh so very long. My door has finally opened …

My heart beats just a little bit faster for software engineers, web-designers and blogger alike. Perhaps you know the feeling when you stand on the proverbial sideline and wish you could be part of whatever is going on over “there”. My “there”, the computer-world, has always been so elusive, and just when I started to get a glimpse, started to demystify the world related to computers, software, websites, blogs, and such, my new-found knowledge was already old.
